  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in sliced bell pepper and onion, cook until softened.
  4. Divide the mixture into four sections in the skillet, and top each with cheese.
  5. Cover until cheese melts.
  6. Toast hoagie rolls if desired, then fill with beef and cheese mixture.
