- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, finely chopped
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
- Parmesan cheese for serving
- Cook turkey bacon in a large pan over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop.
- Add ground turkey to the pan and cook until browned.
- Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, and stir in milk before serving.
- Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
