  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sourdough starter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add flour, salt, lemon zest, and water. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until it becomes elastic, then incorporate blueberries.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  5. Shape the loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Allow the dough to rise again for about 1 hour.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing.
