  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and caramel sauce.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk.
  6. Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool before frosting with additional caramel sauce.
