Chinese Beef and Broccoli (One Pan Take-Out)

Enjoy a delicious and easy homemade version of Chinese Beef and Broccoli that’s perfectly cooked in one pan.

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add beef slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add broccoli and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, and black pepper.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, stir well, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  7. Drizzle with sesame oil and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
  • Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
