Copycat Applebee’s Honey Pepper Chicken Mac and Cheese

A delicious homemade version of Applebee’s Honey Pepper Chicken Mac and Cheese, featuring tender chicken, creamy cheese, and a hint of sweetness.

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 2 pounds chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken from the pan and slice it into strips.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic powder, honey, and pepper; mix well.
  5. Add pasta and heavy cream to the pan, stirring until well combined.
  6. Stir in mozzarella and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Top with sliced chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of pepper based on spice preference.
