CREAMY SMOTHERED CHICKEN AND RICE

A creamy and delicious dish that combines chicken and rice for the ultimate comfort food experience.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups white rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup peas
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large baking dish, combine rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts on top of the mixture.
  4. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil, add peas, and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
