  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken thighs and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, sauté until translucent.
  5. Stir in the rice, coating it with the onion mixture.
  6. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  7. Place chicken back into the skillet, cover, and simmer until rice is cooked and chicken is tender.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add some crushed red pepper flakes.
