- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
