Gluten Free Beef Chow Fun

A flavorful and satisfying dish that brings a gluten-free twist to the beloved Chow Fun.

  • 8 ounces gluten-free rice noodles
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Soak the gluten-free rice noodles in hot water for about 10 minutes, or until tender.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce and oyster sauce, and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add the remaining oil to the pan, then add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the soaked noodles, bean sprouts, and cooked beef back into the pan. Toss everything together and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Stir in the chopped green onions, cook for another minute, then serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add chili flakes or hot sauce.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or snap peas.
