  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup colored sugar (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually mix in the flour, salt, and cinnamon. Knead until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Shape into a ring, place on a baking sheet, and let rise again.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool then decorate with colored sugar.
