- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup colored sugar (for decoration)
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the yeast mixture.
- Gradually mix in the flour, salt, and cinnamon. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Shape into a ring, place on a baking sheet, and let rise again.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool then decorate with colored sugar.
