- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a greased casserole dish and form into a loaf shape.
- Spread the mashed potatoes over the meatloaf, smoothing out with a spatula.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
- Dollop sour cream on top and sprinkle with green onions and paprika.
