- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and add to the sauce.
- Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
