Marry Me Chicken Pasta

A creamy and delicious pasta dish that will make anyone fall in love!

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  3. Add heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and add to the sauce.
  6. Slice the chicken and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • This dish is best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated.
  • Customize with your favorite vegetables like spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
