Mom's Ground Turkey and Peppers

A quick and easy family dinner featuring ground turkey and colorful bell peppers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Add diced bell peppers, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook until peppers are tender.
  6. Stir in diced tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some chili flakes.
  • Can be served over rice or with crusty bread.
