Mouthwatering Stuffed Mushrooms

A delicious recipe for stuffed mushrooms filled with turkey bacon and cheese.

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
  3. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and the chopped turkey bacon.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap with the filling mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños to the filling.
  • These can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
