  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the butterscotch chips.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  8. Cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
