Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
