  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares.
  3. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to create a pocket.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
