- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- In a large bowl, combine warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt together.
- Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture, along with melted butter. Stir until a dough forms.
