Southern-Style Banana Split Cake

A delicious and easy-to-make Southern-style dessert that combines the flavors of a classic banana split in cake form.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1 box vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 pack graham crackers
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine vanilla pudding mix with milk and mix until smooth.
  2. Layer crushed graham crackers at the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Spread the pudding mixture over graham crackers.
  4. Slice bananas and layer them on top.
  5. Add the crushed pineapple evenly over the bananas.
  6. Spread whipped cream on top of the fruit layer.
  7. Finish with crushed walnuts and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a layer of chocolate pudding.
  • Use more or less whipped cream based on preference.
