Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Add steaks to the skillet and cook to desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Carefully add bourbon to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and let it thicken slightly, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Slice the steaks and drizzle the bourbon garlic cream sauce on top. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Let the steaks rest to ensure they remain juicy.
