Tortellini Carbonara

A creamy twist on a classic carbonara, this Tortellini Carbonara features turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delicious and hearty meal.

  • 1 package tortellini
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chicken ham and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, eggs, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  5. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet with chicken ham. Pour the cream mixture over the tortellini and stir to combine.
  6. Cook on low heat for a few minutes until heated through and the sauce thickens.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the crumbled turkey bacon and fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • This recipe can be easily customized with your favorite vegetables or proteins.
  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
